A Chartered Engineer, Dan is responsible overseeing the management of the business; including delivery & growth strategy and development of the team.

Before joining Ford Mainwaring, Dan had gained a wealth of technical experience, having started on the tools as a Mechanical & Electrical engineer spending 9 years on frontline service within the HVAC industry. Dan then gained promotion and experience through various managerial positions before coming to lead the team at Ford Mainwaring.

Being the mechanical geek that he is, outside of work Dan also likes to spend his time restoring motorcycles, in-between drinking red wine, enjoying a game of golf and being a dad to his two children.

Stacey has been a staple part of Ford Mainwaring for 17 years. She joined the business after completing an Apprenticeship in Business Admin & HR and has been part of the family ever since.

As Compliance Administrator, Stacey is responsible for subcontractor management, accreditations & certifications and compliance regulations. Stacey also plays an active part in the tendering process, completing PQQ’s and assisting with quotations.

Outside of work, when not renovating her bungalow she enjoys camping holidays with her husband and 3 children. She likes Chinese food, prosecco and campfires…. preferably all at the same time!

As the Service Deliver Leader, Mark is responsible for the overall management of the service team as well as some key client accounts.

Mark has a wealth of experience in the HVAC industry, having spent 37 years in the field from being an apprentice service engineer when leaving school to where he is now. Before joining Ford Mainwaring Mark had worked at a national FM company where he progressed through management as a technical manager.

An important focus for Mark is the development of younger engineers, he plays an active part in coaching and mentoring the apprentices, which is an integral part of the business.

When not coaching or managing, Mark enjoys travelling and has visited an impressive number of African countries. Africa aside, Mark feels really at home when he is drinking Stella in Belgium with his family!

Employed directly by Bowdon services, Laura is responsible for all of the marketing, social media & website, business development and bid coordination for the groups M&E business, including Ford Mainwaring.

With a varied background, Laura brings a good mix of skills and experience to her role. Having worked in the construction industry for the past 8 years in various capacities, she has experience in main contracting within Sales & Marketing roles and a good solid understanding of the industry as a whole.

When not updating LinkedIn or chasing down tender opportunities, Laura enjoys travelling and says her favourite holiday was to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. When not travelling, she likes to spend time in the gym, drink fine wine and eat delicious food with her loved ones.

Carolyn is the Finance Director for Bowdon Services. Her role includes offering high level financial support to the group’s M&E businesses, which includes Ford Mainwaring.

A CIMA qualified accountant, Carolyn worked full time as an Account Clerk whilst studying at night and weekends to gain her professional qualifications. Since this time she has gained vast experience throughout the accounting sector and gained numerous promotions, before FD in 2002.

Prior to Ford Mainwaring, Carolyn spent 15 years in the construction sector within residential development and main contracting, including McCarthy & Stone and Harry Fairlclough Construction.

Not content on having conquered the finance world, Carolyn is also a photographer in her spare time. She has dabbled in the odd wedding, but much prefers to take snaps for fun!

In the winter months you can find Carolyn jetting off to her second home in Cape Verde where you will find her sipping G&T’s, eating Indian food and of course, taking lots of pictures.

Wayne is a Senior Project Manager within the business and his role is to oversee projects and estimates for various clients, Wayne’s responsibilities include but are not limited to design, costing, procurement and project management.

Starting out as an Apprentice and progressing through the ranks, Wayne’s career within building services spans a period of 20 years. Now a qualified project engineer with a HNC in Building Services Engineering, Wayne has an array of experience in sectors such as retail, water treatment and the public sector.

Aside from his love of all things Building Services, Wayne’s beloved team Stoke City play a big part in filling his spare time as he is an avid supporter. When the football off then Wayne can be found enjoying family time.

Responsible for overseeing the daily running of all mechanical projects, Gary manages some of our larger installation projects and works alongside our trusted clients on long term, high value projects.

Gary came to us from Liberty Gas Group, an award-winning property services business based in Liverpool, where he was project managing the installation of sprinkler systems in Stockport.

Having recently passed his SMSTS giving him another 5 years, we expect to see him on site for quite a while yet!

In his spare time, Gary follows stoke city football club and spends time with my family. However, if he had a choice he would be in Disney World drinking lager and nice posh coffees.

Recently promoted to Accounts Assistant, Emma started with Ford Mainwaring as Administrator and quickly impressed with her skills and can do attitude.

Emma is now responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with the day to day business operation, company accounts and month end reconciliation, as well as continuing to oversee the company administration, fleet management and plant hire.

Having previously worked for worked Carlsberg UK, we expected Emma to be a lager drinker, but she enjoys nothing more than a G&T whilst spending time outside of work with her family.

Nicky is one of our long servicing members of the family, having been with the business for 20 years. As the Finance Manager she is responsible for cash flow, payroll, credit control and monthly accounts reporting.

After joining Ford Mainwaring straight from college, Nicky starting off as a receptionist and quickly began to work her way through the ranks, first as Accounts Assistant to the FD and then into her role as Finance Manager.

A good strong cup of coffee is one of Nicky’s vices, she’s enjoys holidays to Turkey, shopping, eating out and generally spending time with her partner and three young girls.

As the Estimating Manager, Jeff is responsible for the design and estimation of all major projects within the business.

With the experience and knowledge that Jeff brings form his background in technical facilities, he has naturally been able to lend his success to the role in winning some notable projects to date.

Outside of the estimating world, Jeff likes to holiday in the Maldives and swim in coral reefs (alright for some). Aside from this he enjoy walking in the great British sunshine with a Borevor sausage and an ice cream in his hand.

Mat has recently celebrated 25 years with Ford Mainwaring. He joined in 1996 as an Apprentice Plumber and after many years of loyalty and hard work, he remains a vital part of the operation as Service Manager.

Having worked up through the ranks, Mat has done many roles within the business, including labourer, pipefitter and gas engineer. He is an integral part of the team today and is responsible managing the daily operations of the service team looking after some of the key longstanding customers.

When it comes to the weekend you will find Mat tucking into a family Sunday dinner with a cold pint of Carling!

As Project Co-ordinator, Kayleigh plays a vital part in the day to day management of engineers and allocation of work. Her main responsibilities include registering new jobs, quoting work and ordering job specific parts.
With Kayleigh’s previous experience within an asbestos surveying company enable a smooth transition into building services. Skills she brought along with her included quality checking and general administration.

Kayleigh has been an Instrumental part of the integration of SIMPRO, our new job management software and her efforts were well recognised within the business.

At the end of the integration project, Kayleigh was happy to go home to her family and pour herself a large glass of Rose!

As a Contract Manager, Tom is responsible for management of service contracts and small works projects. His remit includes contract performance and successful client contract delivery.

Being one of the younger members of the team, Tom has made quite an impact since joining ford Mainwaring, he has fantastic work and is liked by all. He has an engineering background and has been in the industry since the age of 17 when he started as an Apprentice for a well know building services business.

More impressively, Tom can and has done the Rubik’s cube on numerous occasions and can even complete it within one minute!

Outside of work Tom likes to learn how to play the piano, likes to go on the odd city break and enjoys a good curry, washed down with whatever beer is on offer!

Andy is responsible for the overall management and growth of our electrical team. He is an ambitious and driven individual with over 20 years’ experience in the commercial, water, wastewater, and energy sectors.

His knowledge and experience in estimating, design and project management enables him to oversee projects from initial enquiry through to handover. He is commercially aware and able to manage budgets to ensure margins are achieved and projects are completed successfully, safely and in line with programme constraints.

In his spare time, Andy can be found running around after his three kids or at the Etihad stadium watching Manchester City. Andy’s favourite food is anything spicy, washed down with a cold bottle of Corona.
