Promoting the Armed Forces: We proudly share our status as an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, extending this awareness to our staff, customers, suppliers, contractors, and the wider public.
Veterans Support: Embracing military skills and qualifications in our recruitment process, partnering with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to facilitate the employment of Service leavers, and offering guaranteed interviews to veterans meeting specified job criteria.
Reservists Encouragement: Providing unwavering support to employees who are members of the Reserve Forces, including granting additional paid leave for annual Reserve Forces training, as well as supporting mobilisations and deployments.
Cadet Organisations: Empowering and supporting our staff who are volunteer leaders in military cadet organisations, facilitating additional leave for annual training camps and courses, actively encouraging staff to participate as volunteer leaders, and recognising the merit of employing cadets/ex-cadets within our workforce.
National Events Participation: Wholeheartedly supporting significant events such as Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal Day, and engaging in various Remembrance activities.
Armed Forces Charities: Demonstrating our commitment by fundraising for and supporting Armed Forces charities, while also encouraging and backing staff who volunteer their time to assist.
Service Spouses and Partners: Understanding the importance of family, we empathetically consider requests for annual leave before, during, and after a partner’s overseas deployment, ensuring that service persons have the opportunity to spend quality time with their families.
