Daniel Bailey
Business Leader
Daniel Bailey - Business Leader
A trained and time-served Building Services Engineer, Dan is responsible for overseeing the management of the business including delivery and growth strategy and development of the team.
Before joining Ford Mainwaring, Dan had gained a wealth of technical experience, having started on the tools as a mechanical and electrical engineer and spending 9 years in frontline service within the HVAC industry. Dan then gained promotion and experience through various managerial positions before coming to lead the team at Ford Mainwaring.
Being the mechanical geek that he is, outside of work Dan also likes to spend his time restoring motorcycles, enjoying a game of golf, and being a dad to his two children.

Kim joined the team in 2023 as Head of Finance. With a wealth of experience in financial roles within the service sector, Kim’s expertise will be invaluable as we structure for growth.

Mark Sherwin
Head of Operations
Mark Sherwin - Head of Operations
Mark is an experienced operational and key account manager, joining the team in 2023 to strengthen our delivery capabilities. Coming from a ‘hands on’ background from the tools in the construction sector, Mark developed across various roles in production and later moved into management of national FM contracts.
A keen golfer in his spare time and never a week goes by when Mark doesn’t mention his fondness of Benidorm.
Wayne Hulse

Wayne Hulse - Senior Project Manager
Wayne is a Senior Project Manager within the business and his role is to oversee projects and estimates for various clients, Wayne’s responsibilities include but are not limited to design, costing, procurement and project management.
Starting as an Apprentice and progressing through the ranks, Wayne’s career within building services spans over 30 years. Now a qualified project engineer with an ONC & HNC in Building Services Engineering, Wayne has an array of experience in sectors such as retail, food factories, water treatment, and the public sector.
Aside from his love of all things Building Services, Wayne’s beloved team Stoke City play a big part in filling his spare time as he is an avid supporter. When the football is off, Wayne can be found enjoying spending time with his family and listening to rock music.

Andy Moorhouse
Electrical Contracts Manager
Andy Moorhouse - Electrical Contracts Manager
Andy is responsible for the overall management and growth of our electrical team. He is an ambitious and driven individual with over 20 years of experience in the commercial, water, wastewater, and energy sectors.
His knowledge and experience in estimating, design and project management enables him to oversee projects from initial enquiry to handover. He is commercially aware and able to manage budgets to ensure margins are achieved and projects are completed successfully, safely and in line with programme constraints.

Gary Lowe
Mechanical Project Manager
Gary Lowe - Mechanical Project Manager
Responsible for overseeing the daily running of all mechanical projects, Gary manages some of our larger installation projects and works alongside our trusted clients on long-term, high-value projects.
Gary came to us from Liberty Gas Group, an award-winning property services business based in Liverpool, where he was project managing the installation of sprinkler systems in Stockport.
In his spare time, Gary follows Stoke City football club and spends time with his family. However, he would be in Disney World drinking posh coffee.

Rich Lavery

Rich Lavery - Project Engineer
Rich Lavery joined Ford Mainwaring in 2002 as an Apprentice and has recently taken on the role of Project Engineer.
Rich supports various projects and is currently working on a decarbonisation project at a primary school in Staffordshire.

Tom Yorke
Contract Manager
Tom Yorke - Contract Manager
As a Contract Manager, Tom is responsible for managing service contracts and small works projects. Being one of the younger team members, he has made quite an impact since joining Ford Mainwaring.
Tom has an engineering background and has been in the industry since the age of 17 when he started as an apprentice for a well know building services business. More impressively, Tom has completed a Rubik’s cube within one minute!
Outside work, Tom is learning to play the piano, likes to go on the odd city break, and enjoys a good curry.

Kayleigh Wilton
Assistant Contract Manager
Kayleigh Wilton - Assistant Contract Manager
As Assistant Contract Manager, Kay supports the delivery of a multi-site MOJ contract, along with other smaller contracts within the FM sector, focusing on hard services, M&E, and compliance services.
She manages both planned and reactive works, ensuring client compliance and service satisfaction.
Kayleigh has been an instrumental part of many internal projects at Ford Mainwaring, including the integration of SIMPRO across the business.
At the end of the project, Kayleigh was happy to go home to her family and pour herself a glass of rosé!
Matthew Weedy
Service Manager
Matthew Weedy - Service Manager
Mat has recently celebrated 25 years with Ford Mainwaring. He joined in 1996 as an Apprentice Plumber and after many years of loyalty and hard work, he remains a vital part of the operation as Service Manager.
Having worked up through the ranks, Mat has done many roles within the business, including labourer, pipefitter and gas engineer. He is an integral part of the team today and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the service team looking after some of the key longstanding customers.

Flora McGarry
Operations Coordinator
Flora McGarry - Operations Coordinator
Flora (Flo) is our newest member of the team, joining us as Operations Coordinator. She has similar experience in the day-to-day management of engineers and allocation of work. Flo has previously worked as a PA, making her a great multi-tasker!
Outside of work, Flo loves spending time with family, circuit training, and supporting her partner and his son in their love of Motorcross.

Patrick McGrillen

Patrick McGrillen - FM Contract Manager
Patrick has 14 years’ experience in the M&E industry which started with works dispatching and planning, before moving out in to the field with engineers and account management.
Patrick likes to spend time outside of work watching football (he is an avid Charlton Athletic fan). He enjoys running, walking the the dog, and loves to spend time tinkering and working with gadgets / technology.

Stacey Charles

Stacey Charles - Contract Support
Stacey has been part of Ford Mainwaring since she was 18, after completing an Apprenticeship in Business Admin & HR and has been a valued part of the family ever since.
Stacey is responsible for engineer scheduling and planning of reactive tasks and planned maintenance, alongside this Stacey acts as the first point of contact for client enquiries for the National Highways contract.
Other responsibilities include raising engineer purchase orders and managing engineers’ paperwork and PPM compliance to ensure tasks are completed correctly and jobs are audited to ensure paperwork is completed accurately.

Nicky Leese
Finance Manager
Nicky Leese - Finance Manager
Nicky is one of our long-serving family members, having been with the business for 20 years. As the Finance Manager, she is responsible for cash flow, payroll, credit control and monthly accounts reporting.
After joining Ford Mainwaring straight from college, Nicky started off as a receptionist and quickly began to work her way through the ranks, first as Accounts Assistant to the Finance Director and then into her role as Finance Manager.
A good strong cup of coffee is one of Nicky’s vices, and she enjoys holidays in Turkey, eating out, and spending time with her family.

Emma Pettitt

Emma Pettitt - Senior Accounts & Admin Assistant
Emma started with Ford Mainwaring as Administrator and was quickly impressed with her skills and can-do attitude.
Emma is now responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with the day-to-day business operation, company accounts and monthly reconciliation, as well as continuing to oversee the company administration, fleet management and plant hire.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys nothing more than a glass of red wine, spending time with her family and friends, and going to gigs and concerts.

Steve Davies - Gas Supervisor
Steve has been with Ford Mainwaring for almost 20 years. He joined in 2006 as a Service Engineer where he worked on sites across the UK.
He has recently been promoted to the role of Gas Supervisor where he supports the ongoing compliance and audit requirements of the business.

Sophie Fulton

Sophie Fulton - Marketing Executive
Sophie joined us in 2023 as Marketing Executive and is responsible for FM’s marketing campaigns as well as conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities, and producing compelling content for our various online and offline channels, such as social media, email, blogs, and events.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with friends, going out for cocktails, and travelling as often as she can!

Jo James - Business Services Coordinator
Jo joined Ford Mainwaring as our Business Services Coordinator, bringing a wealth of experience in recruitment and a passion for creating a positive workplace.
Jo is responsible for coordinating the recruitment and onboarding process, with a focus on improving staff retention and employee engagement across the business. She also manages our business accreditations and plays a key role in enhancing our CSR and ESG strategies.
In her spare time Jo enjoys exploring new places and loves nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.
